Back in the saddle again!!

Well, the Old Man Cyclist has been grounded for the past month. Not by weather, not by laziness, but by a knee that decided it needed a vacation of its own (never had knee problems before). I’ve been watching my bikes collect dust, and let me tell you — it hasn’t been fun.

Last weekend I finally rolled out the e‑bike for a test run. Just a gentle spin to see if the knee was going to behave or throw another tantrum. To my surprise, everything felt solid. No barking, no grinding, no “you’re gonna regret this” messages from the joint.

So tonight, the road bike comes out of hiding. I’m heading out for a proper ride, and I’m more than ready to get back to my regular miles. The Old Man Cyclist is officially back in business.
